Acceptance
These Terms govern your use of Tidiest, operated by [Operator legal name]. By tapping "I agree," you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of any child you set up, that you are at least 18 years old, and that you have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Parent accounts and children
Only a parent/legal guardian may create an account, set up child profiles, write chore rules, and manage gems and rewards. Children operate within the profiles you create; they do not have their own accounts and cannot accept these Terms or make purchases. You are responsible for supervising your child's use of the app and the device's camera.
Parental consent and the camera gate
Submitting chore photos collects personal information from a child, so it is unlocked only after verifiable parental consent. Agreeing to these Terms is your notice and agreement; the consent is verified when you complete a paid subscription through Apple (a payment-based consent method). Until then, the app falls back to manual check-off and the camera stays locked.
How grading and gems work
The AI auditor grades each photo against the rules you wrote and awards gems into a virtual ledger. Grades are automated estimates and may be wrong; you can overrule any result. Gems are a virtual figure for tracking only — they are earned and redeemed one-way, cannot be cashed out, and Tidiest does not move real money, hold funds, or act as a financial institution. Rewards on the reward menu are your own promises to your child, fulfilled by you outside the app.
Subscriptions
AI grading requires a paid subscription billed through your Apple account, which renews until cancelled. You manage or cancel in your Apple account settings, subject to Apple's terms.
Acceptable use
Do not use Tidiest to upload photos of anyone without the right to do so, to attempt to defeat or game the AI in abusive ways, or for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service or endanger a child's safety or privacy.
Disclaimers & liability
Tidiest is provided "as is," without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Operator legal name] is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and the AI's grades are advisory only. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Changes, termination & contact
We may update these Terms; material changes will be presented for your agreement before they take effect. You may stop using Tidiest and delete your account at any time. These Terms are governed by the laws of [your state/country]. Contact: [privacy@your-domain].
